In article the short overview of principal types and models of noise, its characteristics is given. Methods of reduction and remove of noise, the most effective ways of image filtering are considered. Such types of filters, as the sigma-filter, median filter, Nagao-Matsuyama filter are in more details described. Examples of application of some filtering methods are considered.
